occiput excavated. Ocelli small and just elliptic or almost round, OOL somewhat longer than POL. Eye in lateral view 1.4 times as high as wide and twice as long as temple, temple behind eye evenly wide (Fig. 24). Horizontal width of oral opening somewhat longer than shortest distance between opening and eye. Face 1.7 times as wide as high, inner margin of eyes parallel. Malar space a bit shorter than basal width of mandible. Antenna about as long as head + mesosoma + half metasoma combined and with 23 antennomeres. First flagellomere 1.8 times and penultimate flagellomere 1.5 times as long as broad. Mesosoma in lateral view 1.3 times as long as high. Hind section of notaulix (on disc of mesonotum) distinct. Mesosoma polished. - Hind femur 3.6 times as long as broad. Hind basitarsus as long as tarsomeres 2-3 and half of 4th tarsomere. Fore wing somewhat shorter than body. Pterostigma (Fig. 25) 2.85 times as long as wide, issuing radial vein from its middle, rl somewhat shorter than width of pterostigma, rl 1.7 times as long as cuqul, r3 1.6 times as long as r2 and reaching tip of wing, CU2 relatively long, i.e., r2 and cu3 parallel. Metasoma as long as head and mesosoma combined. First tergite (Fig. 26) 1 .2 times as long as broad behind, pair of spiracles anteriorly on tergite, beyond spiracles tergite parallel sided, margin of scutum smooth (i.e., not crenulate as usually). Second and third tergites relatively more transverse, second tergite four times and third tergite 3.6 times as broad behind as long medially, suture between them faintly bisinuate and smooth. Every tergite polished. Hypopygium spiky (Fig. 27). Ovipositor sheath long, as long as hind tibia + tarsus combined, distal end of ovipositor as in Fig. 28. Ground colour of body black with rusty to yellow pattern. Cheek, temple and lateral part of vertex dark rusty. Mandible yellow, palpi fumous yellow. Antenna blackish. Tegula yellow. Legs dark brown with yellow pattern on fore femur anteriorly, tibia, middle and hind femora apically, middle and hind tibiae basally yellow, tarsi brownish. Wings subhyaline, pterostigma and veins opaque yellow. Figs 23-28.
