Comparison. Male genitalia unique. Although penis of the new species (Figs 519, 520) resembles that of T. misrai Dwor., the unusual structure of apical part of paramere suggests some affinity to T. unicolor Dwor. The paramere apex contains, except usual lamellate dorso-lateral termination, a short heavily sclerotized and pigmented cone surrounded by a thin walled "cup", the chitin of the wall is not pigmented contrastly to its base (Figs 523, 524). Small marginal microsetae of the subgenital plate (Fig. 521) and short basal abdominal apodemes (Fig. 528) are the other similarities between T. panthera sp.n. and T. unicolor. Tautoneura zygina sp. n. (Figs 530-541) Type material. - Holotype male, W Sikkim, Pelling, 2000 m, Barringtonia indica, 11. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska (in SMTD). Vertex moderately produced in the midline, slightly yellowish. Fore wing yellowish at the costal margin, whitish on remaining surface, with red longitudinal stripes (Fig. 533) resembling shape commonly found in the genus Zygina Fieb. Length M 2.85 mm. Male genitalia distinctive. Penis stem short, broad in side view (Fig. 536), laterally compressed (Fig. 534), adorned in terminal part on latero-dorsal side with large scales resembling the character common in the genus Kapsa Dwor. Paramere very broad in distal half of the central part, praeapical lobe with broad base, caudal part extremely short except its "second extension" (Figs 530-532). Pygofer relatively long; its upper appendage slightly exceeding the lobe (Fig. 538), almost straight, terminated on a small hook, articulated with anal tube far caudad of its base (Figs 539, 540); caudo-ventral angle of pygofer lobe bearing only two small macrosetae accompanied with a group of feeble microsetae (Figs 538, 541). Connective lamellate (Fig. 535). Basal abdominal apodemes very long (Fig. 537). / Thaia variegata sp. n. (Figs 542-551) Type material. - Holotype male: W Sikkim, Pelling, 2000 m, 11. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 1 M, same data as the holotype; 1 F, Rumtek, 1800 m, 6. III; 1 F, Labrang, 1800-2000 m, 8. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska (in SMTD and NMNH). Vertex rounded anteriorly. Colored pattern contains various shades of brown (obliguely dashed in Figs 542, 545) and orange (transversely stripped) on ivory background. Colouration variable. Vertex sometimes sordid whitish, two elongated patches brown. Two other brown patches on face, mesad below incision of lateral frontal sutures; two broad brown stripes at sides of frontoclypeus (sometimes confluent ventrally); in dark specimens almost whole anteclypeus brown, darker ventrally; in lighter specimens only anteclypeus and lateral parts of frontoclypeus brownish and centre of face light ochre; in other specimens centre of face bright ochre-brownish and infuscation ventrally inconspicuous. Pronotum ochre centrally or orange with reddish tint at the lines of muscle insertions; dark brown patch antero-laterad of basal triangles and another one, confluent, antero-laterad behind eye (Fig. 542); very hind margin light tan. Scutum and scutellum ivory or light ochre, mesal part of basal triangle brownish, the lateral one orange. Fore
