stem is broad in side view, the dorsal extension is a composition of overlapping sequen­ces of small teeth that result in its irregular shape and the ventral extension is prominent. Tautoneura bcllula sp. n. (Figs 506-518) Type material. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Gangtok, 1650 m, 2. III. 1991, I. Dwo­rakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 1 F, same data as the holotype; 2 F, Rumtek, 1700 m, 5. Ill; 3 F, Labrang, 1800-2000 m, forest, 8. III. 1991, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD, NMNH and HNHM). Brightly colored, especially male. Male yellowish, female whitish. Caudal part of metanotum blackish, that shows as a dark broad "V" flanking apex of scutellum. In male also base of abdominal tergite 3, blackish, caudal borders of all other abdominal tergites orange-red (broader centrally) and dorso-caudal angle of pygofer orange-reddish. Vertex acutely produced in midline, more in female. In male broad transverse orange fascia on vertex subbasally extending laterally cephalad almost to the anterior margin of vertex. Coronal suture bordered with ivory, small ivory patches at base of vertex near eyes and a roundish one in midline of pronotum anteriorly. On pronotum two large lateral orange patches joined by ochre-orange in midline cover most of the surface; hind margin broad­ly milky grey. Scutum and scutellum orangeous. Ochre-red patches in proximal 2/3 of fore wing marked with transverse striation in Fig. 513 (the one at apex of clavus reddish), smoky or brownish pattern marked with oblique dashes. Vermilion red small patches at both ends of wax-field. In female the pattern reduced (Fig. 511) and (except the reddish patch at apex of clavus) the patches in basal 2/3 of wing are bright yellow to orange-yel­low. Scutum and scutellum of female whitish, basal triangles yellow, sometimes tip of scutellum yellowish. Body beneath pale. Length M 2.4, F 2.3-2.5 mm. Male genitalia distinctive. Penis stem short, tubular, with two small terminal pro­cesses, two subterminal latero-ventral lamellae and ventral basal process; gonopore dor­sal (Figs 506, 512). Paramere (Figs 515 - 517) with small praeapical lobe, hump-like praeapical extension and long apex. Upper pygofer appendage short, slightly hooked, numerous setae, varying in form at cephalo-ventral angle of pygofer (Figs 507, 510). Anal tube appendage small, not sclerotized (Figs 507, 508). Basal abdominal apodemes very short (Fig. 509). Tautoneura panthera sp. n. (Figs 519-529) Type material. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 1 M, 1 F, same data as the holotype (in SMTD and NMNH). Vertex produced anteriorly, about twice longer in the midline than at eyes. Head and upper side of thorax whitish. A sign of ivory pattern in form of a streak along coronal su­ture and a patch in the midline at anterior margin of pronotum. Large orange-ochre patch on scutellum caudally. Fore wing of female [wings missing in male] semitransparent, whitish, with orange patches as transversely stripped in Fig. 529 (the patch at distal end of wax-field and the one at apex of clavus, reddish. Length F 2.7 mm.
