short, its three parts of almost equal length, no distinct praeapical lobe, a few sensory pits along outer margin of its caudal part (Fig. 313). Connective (Fig. 319) lamellate, with small central lobe. Penis stem tubular, with appendages, large praeatrium, laterally compressed apodeme, subterminal, ventral gonopore (Figs 320, 321). Basal abdominal apodemes of male very large, heavily sclerotized (Figs 317, 322). Remarks. The new genus shows unique characters of subgenital plate and dorsal articulation of penis, exceptional is its minute, heavily sclerotized upper pygofer appendage. <• Chagria sikkimensis (Datta et Ghosh, 1973) comb. n. (Figs 310-326) Typhlocyba sikkimensis Datta et Ghosh, 1973 p. 418 There is sexual dimorphism in colouration. In male anteclypeus, lorae, ventral and lateral parts of frontoclypeus brownish; remaining parts ochre-yellowish centrally (darker ventrad); genae whitish. In female anteclypeus and frontoclypeus dark brown; lorae, inner parts of genae and antennae sordid brownish and outer parts of genae sordid whitish. Transition vertex to face sordid whitish, with two large blackish patches, area between the patches ochreous. Vertex of female slightly more produced anteriorly. In both sexes transverse brownish infuscation on vertex basally, larger in male. Vertex and pronotum brown, anterior margin of pronotum lighter in several areas. Scutum and scutellum ochre, with blackish basal triangles and two small patches mesad (Fig. 311). Fore wing of male light sordid brownish, with longitudinal veins lighter, wax-field ochreorange with reddish or ochre-red tint and very commissural and costal margins dark brown. Fore wing of female (Fig. 325) with alternative grey-brown and whitish areas in its basal half. Wax-field ochre-yellow, costal margin basad of the wax-field, blackishbrown, inner margin reddish (areas marked by transverse striation in Fig. 325 sordid reddish), part of c cell caudad of wax-field dark brown, other areas (obliquely striated in Fig. 325) dark grey-brownish.
