FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK XLIX 1988 p. 205-210 New data to the caddisfly (Trichoptera) fauna of Hungary, II. By S. U.-NÓGRÁDI (Received November 20, 1987) Abstract: Species proved to be new to the Hungarian fauna are Glossosoma boltoni Curt., Plectrocnemia genicuiata McL. , Hydropsyche siltalai Döhler and Adicella balcanica Bots, et Novak. Some data of little known species are given. In the previous years three papers gave several new data to the knowledge of Hungarian Trichoptera (NÓGRÁDI 1984, 1985, 1986). These papers introduced 19 species which had proved to be new to the Hungarian fauna and included some data on rare species. During the past two years rather large materials were elaborated which had been collected in West Hungary, in the Zselic Downs and in some other parts of Hungary. These materials, which were collected personally and by light traps, counted over twenty thousand specimens. During the elaboration four species proved to be new to the Hungarian fauna and further specimens of some little known species. These specimens are deposited in the collection of Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs. SPECIES NEW FN THE HUNGARIAN FAUNA Glossosoma boltoni Curtis, 1834. (syn. : G. vernale Pictet, 1834, G. vernale McLachlan, 1879)- Magyarszombatfa, W. Hungary, Sept. 24, 1983, 1 <5 (light trap). Figs 1-5. SÁTORI (1939) had given data of Glossosoma boltoni Curt, from the Bükk and Mátra Mountains. Later these were disregarded by ÚJHELYI (1974) in lack of voucher specimens. Later ÚJHELYI (1985) wrote about the occurrence of Glossosoma conformis Neboiss in the Mátra Mountains. On the other hand, KISS (1981) published Glossosoma boltoni Curt, from Gyöngyössolymos. KISS's material is deposited in the collection of Mátra Museum, Gyöngyös. The specimen recorded by him is found in the material preserved in alcohol, however, it proved to be Glossosoma conformis Neboiss. In the collection of the Mátra Museum 6 caddisflies were place under the name of Glossosoma boltoni Curtis. Two of them were Rhyacophila fasciata Hägen males, one of them was Plectrocnemia conspersa Curt, male, one of them was Hydropsyche fulvipes Curtis male and two of them were Glossosoma conformis Neboiss females. Five pinned and two, Glossosoma conformis Neboiss preserved in alcohol are in the collection of the Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs, from Hungary. The collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum and the collection in the Kossuth Lajos University, Debrecen, do not contain any Hungarian Glossosoma specimens.
