Glossosoma boltoni Curtis and Glossosoma conformis Neboiss, 1963 (Syn.: G. boltoni McLachlan) were confused before NEBOISS's (1963) paper owing to McLACHLAN's (18741880) mistaken figure and description. Usually G. boltoni Curt, was published instead of G. conformis Neboiss by the Hungarian authors, too. After all the Glossosoma specimens collected until recent times, have proved to be conformis Neboiss. Only one male of Glossosoma boltoni Curtis was captured by light trap at Magyarszombatfa, W. Hungary, this is the only authentic specimen from Hungary. This species has not been recorded from Hungary by BOTOSANEANU and MALICKY (1978) yet. Plectrocnemia geniculata McLachlan, 1871 - Velem, Vorha Spring, July 2, 1986 4 6, June 23, 1987 6 6 (leg. S.U. NÓGRÁDI, Á. UHERKOVICH and M. NYIRŐ), Kőszeg. Stream "Hármas-patak". June 25, 1987 laic (leg. S.U. NÓGRÁDI and Á. UHERKOVICH). Figs 6-12. - This species has not been mentioned in the Hungarian literature yet. It is a well distributed and at places frequent caddisfly in West and Central Europe. We collected several specimens in the Alps. In Hungary it was collected only in the easternmost part of the Alps, in the Kősseg Mountains. All twelve specimens came on light. HydropByche ailtalai Döhler, 1963 - Kőszeg, Chernél' s Arboretum July 25 - Sept 21, 1984 9 S, July 19 - Aug. 10, 1985 6 S (light trap). Velem July 3, 1986 1 S, July 4, 1986 2 6 (leg. M. NYIRÖ), Figs 13-16. - The distribution of this speeies has not been known well, since it was described in the past decades. Alhtough BOTOÇANEANU and MALICKY (19 78) marked its occurrence in "Donauländer", we did not have a Hungarian voucher specimen. Its first specimens were collected by light trap and personally on light in the Kőszeg Mountains. The revised material of various collections does not contain single specimen. Adicella balcapica Botosaneanu et Novak, 1965 - Kőszeg, Stream "Hármas-patak" jT~îyTTlin~FT~ _ rUeg. S. U. NÓGRÁDI and A. UHERKOVICH). Figs 17-22. - This caddisfly has been known only in the Balkan Penninsula by BOTOSANEANU and MALICKY (1978). It was surprising that a male of this species was swept along a stream in the Kőszeg Mountains . Although on this site we collected several times, no other specimen was secured. According to the literature cited above its larvae develop in springs. NEW DATA OF SOME SPECIES Besides the njw species some specimens of several rare or little known species were collected. Some of them are new for the region where they had been collected. Others have been known only from their first sites. Limnephilus tauricus Schmied, 1964 - N. Hungary, Jósvafő, Haragistya, July 31- Aug. 7, 1983 1 S (light trap). Figs 23-26. - This species, described two decades ago, was mentioned only by CHANTARAMONGKOL (1983) from Verőce, Hungary. Here a light trap functioning near the Danube captured a female. Its distribution is rather insufficiently known. The second Hungarian specimen - a male - was captured also by light trap. Limnephilus elegáns Curtis, 1834 - Lipótfa, July 1. 1986 1 S (light trap). - The first specimens were captured at Magyarszombatfa (ÚJHELYI 1983). Later, also here, further specimens were collected by the author and by light trap (NÓGRÁDI 1986). It was surprising that this species living in Sphagnum moors has been captured in the Zselic Downs, far from moors. It might develop in the marshy parts of fish ponds north from the trap.
