Ç. Much larger on the average; antennái segment XI shorter than 3 preceding combin­ed; eyes smaller, interocular distance broader; pronotum transverse; all tibiae unarmed. Type species: Tomogria perlata sp. n., by present designation. Remarks: On account of the pearl-like tubercles of the elytra, this genus sharply dif­fers from Lagria or any other New Guineán genera of Lagriina. The polished, rounded pro­tuberances are much more evident when seen by naked eye. Tomogria perlata sp. n. (Figs 19, 20, 23) Head, pronotum, scutellum, ventral surface and legs dark blackish brown with green­ish-bronzy tinge; elytra dark nut-brown tinged with bronze; suturai margin black; antennae dark brown.
