Ç. Much larger on the average; antennái segment XI shorter than 3 preceding combined; eyes smaller, interocular distance broader; pronotum transverse; all tibiae unarmed. Type species: Tomogria perlata sp. n., by present designation. Remarks: On account of the pearl-like tubercles of the elytra, this genus sharply differs from Lagria or any other New Guineán genera of Lagriina. The polished, rounded protuberances are much more evident when seen by naked eye. Tomogria perlata sp. n. (Figs 19, 20, 23) Head, pronotum, scutellum, ventral surface and legs dark blackish brown with greenish-bronzy tinge; elytra dark nut-brown tinged with bronze; suturai margin black; antennae dark brown.
