Acutogria gen. n. Diagnosis: Elongate, moderately convex, medium-sized; colour dark; pubescence short, semierect, sparse; head, pronotum and elytra with distinct punctation. 8, Head with interocular distance narrower than eye diameter; antennái segments II to X simple, not transverse; segment XI as long as 5 preceeding segments combined, curved, abruptly attenuate in apical 1/3, apex acute. Pronotum slightly longer than broad, with very shallow impressions. Elytra moderately widening posteriorly; surface roughly sculptured; apex simple; inner margin of epipleura reaching apex. Legs rather strong, moderately long; fore femora distinctly longer and stouter than middle and hind ones; fore tibiae curved and twisted in apical 1/3, inner margin with a large, broad, tooth-like widening just before the middle; inner margin of middle and hind tibiae finely serrate subapically. Sterna simple; last abdominal sternite rounded at apex. g. Larger on the average; .antennái segment XI simple, a little longer than 2 preceed-i ing segments combined; interocular distance broader; pronotum transverse; fore femora not distinctly longer and stouter than others; fore tibiae not modified. Type species: Acutogria falcata sp. n., by present designation. Remarks: The most salient characteristics of this genus are the bill-shaped, acute last antennái segment and the uniquely formed fore tibiae of the males. Acutogria falcata sp.; n. (Figs 21, 22, 24) Head, pronotum and scutellum dark blackish green with metallic sheen; elytra shiny, dark blackish brown; a large, common spot just behind middle of elytra darker black (more evident on immature specimens); ventral surface, legs and antennae dark reddish brown. Length: 8. 0-10. 5 mm.
