Description of new taxa Lagria ligulata sp. n. (Figs 1, 5, 6) Head, pronotum and scutellum dark, shiny, metallic green; elytra brownish with strong greenish, purplish or violet tinge; ventral surface reddish, meso- and metasternum darker; legs black; antennae largely yellowish, apical 4-5 segments gradually darker. Length: 6.5­10 _1 mm. 8, Head very weakly impressed between eyes; coarsely and sparsely punctate; with long, scattered hairs; eyes conspicuously large, EI= 12: 5;ülength ratios of antenna! seg­ments: 7:4. 5:9:8:7. 5: 10:9:9:7. 5:23; segment I about as long as half the distance between antenna! sockets; segment XI somewhat widened, very weakly twisted, inner surface con­cave (Fig. 5). Pronotum as long as or a little longer than broad; widest at the middle, sides, very weakly arched; punctures coarse, separated by interspaces as broad as puncture dia­meter; surface with 4 shallow impressions; pubescence moderately long, erect. Elytra elon­gate, feebly broadening, weakly convex; punctation coarse, moderately dense; interspaces slightly raised; with rather long, sparse pubescence consisting of erect and semierect hairs. Sterna without modifications. Legs typical; with sparse, moderately long, semierect hairs; tibiae unarmed. Aedeagus: Fig. 6. Habitus: Fig. 1. g. Considerably larger and broader on the average; EI= 15:11; length ratios of anten­nái segments VIII to XI: 10:9:8: 19; last antennái segment simple; pronotum of same length and width or slightly transverse; elytra much broader.
