Redescription: Head, pronotum and scutellum dark olivaceous green to blue with strong metallic sheen; elytra purplish red to blue; with a large, ovoid ochreous spot at the middle; this spot leaving suturai margin dark, narrowest at inner side, gradually widening toward elytral margin, anterior border nearly horizontal, posterior border oblique; spot may often be expanded or reduced to disappear; ventral surface and legs black; antennae dark reddish brown to black. Length: 6.9-10.0 mm. S. Head largely impunctate between eyes and on vertex; with small pits between eyesji vertex with 2 blunt, smooth protuberance standing near each other; temples coarsely punc-j täte; surface with moderately long, erect hairs; EI= 12:8; length ratios of antennái segments: 9: 4: 8: 9: 7: 8: 7: 7: 6;5: 5: 24; no transversal or modified segments; segment I about as long as half the distance between antennái sockets. Pronotum a little transverse; widest just anterior to middle; sides weakly arched; punctures coarse, very close, somewhat confluent posteriorly; with 2 indistinct, transversal impressions before base; pubescence moderately long and sparse, erect. Elytra elongate broadly, ovoid, convex; punctation moderately coarse, nearly uniform, interspaces not plicate; pubescence rather short, rather dense, erect. Sterna without modifications.
