setae well visible in dorsal view, they have flagellate end. Lamellae similar to those of the type species of the genus, but their innen margin rounded, outer cuspis longer than in M. micropterus . Lamellar surface rugose. Lamellar setae spiniform. Interlamellar setae very short arising on the inner margin of lamellae (Fig. 23). Sensillus reclinate, with long cilia on its outer margin. Tutorium (Fig. 25) with a sharp apex. Notogaster: Dorsosejugal suture interrupted medially or very hardly visible. Pteromorpha small, its surface strongly rugose. Along its innen margin some granules and some lines directed to the median part of notogaster. All notogastral setae short and simple. Ventral side (Fig. 24): Pedotecta 1 large, its surface with some transversal rugae. All epimeral setae simple, setae la, lb, lc equal in length, setae 3a longer and stronger than the others. Some fields or alveoli on the epimeres visible and on the lateral part of the 4th epimeral borders some longitudinal wrinkles and granules observable. Anogenital region without any characteristic difference. Setae g g longer and thicker than the others, their cilia also longer. Material examined: Holotypus: (1126-HO-85) No.P. 72; 2 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotypus and 1 paratype (1126-PO-85) deposited in the HNHM, 1 paratype in the MHNG. Remarks: The new species is the fourth Megazetes Balogh, 1959 species; all known from the Ethiopian Region. They may be distinguished by the following key: 1 (6) Lamellar setae arising on the anterior margin or on the cuspis of lamellae. 2 (5) Between lamellar setae and the outer cuspis of lamellae a deep incision present.
