YASUMATSU (1939a) described this subspecies from Shôyô-zan, Keiki-dô (= Kyonggydo), Central Korea. This record reconfirms the occurrence of this form there. As to other Korean Psithyrus species, all described from NE, see YASUMATSU (1934, 1939b) and TKALCÛ (1959).
