on hind legs darker brown. The second joint of maxillary palpi as long as the third. Spurs 1.3.4. Fore wing very decorative as normal for the genus. Costal area very broad at wing base and narrowing afterwards. Excisions on apical margin very pronounced. Apico-posterior angle rounded not pointed. Coloration similar to the pattern of the genus with brown background. Apical cells, basal cells, post costal area and the areas around pterostigma and arculus darker. Elongated whitish thyridium just before the point of furcation of M and a very small whitish point near arculus where Cug meets the proximal end of apical cell IX. Costal area, subcostal area, cubital area and anal area paler. There are two more pale markings in the fore wing. One of these is placed obliquely in the middle of the wing, the fenestrate spot, the other irregularly surrounds a portion of the anastomosis, the pale anastomosai space. On the other hand, two longitudinal rows of small irregular black spots the subthyridial and postcostal ones characterizing subgenus Macrotaulius are present and very distinct. R 5 rather blackish. Length and largest width of fore wings 27-8, those of hind wings 24-14 mm. Fig. 1. Nemotaulius coreanus sp. n. A: Male genitalia, lateral, B: dorsal, C: posterior, D: Ends of parameres and aedeagus, dorsal, E. Wings Male genitalia. Medio-apical portion of eighth tergite strongly produced into an almost downcurving lobes clothed with short stout setae. Ninth segment broad middle and narrowing both dorsally and ventrally. Superior appendages clearly ovoid with a well-developed triangular projection at submiddle position on the apical margin. Other peculiar feature of the superior appendages is an enlarged circular strongly sclerotized black area occupying the larger lower half of the appendages including also the triangular projection. Intermediate appendages not visible in lateral view due to this heavily sclerotized black circle on the superior appendages completely untransparent even after a repeated caustic potash treatment. In lateral aspect the heavily sclerotized distal ending of intermediate appendages broad, clavate or rather with a renal configuration. The less sclerotized lower branch produced into a clearly triangular projection with a middle ridge as visible in lateral view. Inferior appendages least produced in the genus, fused to ninth segment forming a latero-caudal concave surface. Its distal margin with a small excision below the dorsal angle. The ventral angle not produced and not pointed. Phallic apparatus with robust phallobase, with slightly up- and incurving parameres armed with seven medially directed long and stout spines and with a
