bipartite aedeagus. At least the head of the aedeagus separated by distinctly visible incision. The head triangular together with the two lateral lobes. The lobes reaching near base. This is a distinct large and very decorative new caddisfly species allied to N. admorsus McLachlan, 1866 distributed in Japan, Sakhalin, Ussuri and Kurile Islands. Differs from admorsus in its fore wings pattern with rounded apico-posterior angle which is very pointed in admorsus. Second and third joints of maxlllarly palpi equal, second longer in admorsus. Superior and intermediate appendages differently formed. Holotype $ . Korea, Mt. Pektusan, before Sam-ziyan hotel, lakeshore, 20.VII. 1977, No. 383, light trap, leg. DELY et DELY-DRASKOVITS . Deposited at the Zoological Department, Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Right pair of wings mounted as dry microcopic preparation. Caustic potash-treated abdomen and the remaining part of the body stored in a single airtight selfstanding vial with 70 % ethanol. Fig. 2. Agoerodes spinosus sp.n. A: Male genitalia, lateral, B: dorsal, C: head, lateral, D. Wings Agoerodes spinosus sp. n. (Fig. 2) Male (in alcohol). General colour brown. Spurs 2.4.4. One spur on the first tibia very small, but well visible. Hairs on fore wings brown, scales paler. Length and largest width of fore wings 6.4-2.4, those of hind wings 5.3-2 mm. On the fore wing from the proximal portion of costa long slender, hairs arising and directed to the middle of the wing. From the postcostal fold somewhat shorter hairs arising and directed towards the middle with their thickened distal half.Venation of fore wing very similar to A. sinuata Martynov, 1935. Postcostal fold cover only the proximal half of wing and somewhat sinuate. Venation of hind wing with a very curious aberrant character. The corneus point enclosed by a small cell. Similar phenomenon occurs in other species of this genus: A. margula Mosely, 1949 described from Kashmir. Basal joint of antenna a very long flattened plate, twisted in the middle. Its basal posterior portion thickened to a heel-like angle and
