second quadrate, second and third joints combined as long as first. Pronotum as long as broad; lateral margins parallel-sided, posterior angles rounded; posterior margin broadly rounded; median longitudinal furrow present. Tegmina short, only a little longer than pronotum. Wings absent. Ab­domen a little depressed, and expanded to 5th and 6th abdominal tergites. Ultimate tergite broad, simple without lateral process. Forceps elongate (Fig. 40) a little laminate basally, cylindrical apically; Inner margins with some denticles, and a large process-like tooth at apical section. Ge­nitalia (Fig. 41) characteristic; paramere narrow, elongate, genital lobe well developed; virga within genital lobe long, not of Forficula-type, with supplementary sack basally. External paramere moderately short, shorter than virga. Length of body with forceps: 11-12 mm. Femaly very similar to male, but forceps simple, contiguous, tapering, straight. Length of body with forceps: 11.5-13 mm. Holotype male: Spanien, Zaragoza, Meinert, gen.prep. No. 719, det.Dr.H. Steinmann. - Pa­ratypes, ditto, 2 males, 12 females, deposited in the Universitets Zoologiske Museum, Köbenhavn. - 2 males, and 1 female deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. - Massilia, "albipennis", 1 male, and 2 females without labels deposited in the Staatliches Museum für Tier­kunde, Dresden.
