Apanteles praetor Marshall, 1885 - Distribution: up to now reported from England, Sweden, Finland, USSR (Armenia, Russia). New to the fauna of Hungary. Supposedly much more distri­buted in the Western Palaearctic Region. Localities: Gyalul-havasok, Runk, Bélavár (= Runcul Salvei, Transylvania), 1 if! Kőszeg, Gubahegy, 1 é. Szilágycsehi (= Cehul Silvanei, Transylvania), 1 <j>. Vác, Naszály, 1 £. - VI-VHI. Apanteles princeps Wilkinson, 1941 - Within the laevigatus-group first tergite relatively short, at most one-third longer than its greatest width before the middle, Its sides slightly con­verging posteriorly. Ovipositor sheath about length of third tibia. Stigma usually with a small pale basal spot, exceptionally effaced. - Distribution: its few localities were recorded in Europe (England, Hungary, Rumania: Transylvania) and in Korea. Apanteles Boika i Nixon, 1972 - Spines of outer side of hind tibia extremely numerous and close-set. Head In frontal view usually one-fifth broader than high. Preapical joint of antenna slightly longer than broad (6:5). Mesonotum with sharp punctation. Stigma usually evenly brown, less usually with a more or less distinct pale basal spot. - Distribution: known only from Italy (Venezia), Hungary and Bulgaria. Apanteles sophiae Papp, 1972 - A member of the laevlgatus-group though with few transitio­nal features towards the ater-group: first tergite with a more or less distinct medio-longitudinal trough on its hind half, propodeum with a rather U-shaped areola, vannai lobe of hind wing hardly convex. First tergite widening posteriorly. Antennái joints 14-17 cubic to transverse. Hypopygium produced in a spinule. - Distribution: I described it from Hungary, recently found in Bulgaria.
