and femur; short antenna! segment I; morphology of genitalia) it is far from mirabilis , while the shape of pronotum is somewhat similar to that of A . tonkinensis Kormilev et Heiss, 1976. Melvertes malaisi (Kormilev, 1963) comb. n. There are well recognisable differences amongst the closely related genera Dasyaptera Usinger et Matsuda, 1959, Notoplocaptera Usinger et Matsuda, 1959 and Melvertes Vásárhelyi, 1976 (i. e. in the extent of fusion of sclerites). According to these differences N. málaisi clearly belongs to Melvertes . On the other side the description of the latter must be corrected as follows: characters of non-generic importance are: genae produced far beyond clypeus as distinct lobes; rostrum arising from a closed atrium; median area of tergal plate delimited by deep punctures on both sides. Description of the male: smaller and less wide than female (Figs. 4-6). Atrium with a narrow slit. Relative length of antennái segments I to IV as: 30:20::19:12. Pro-, meso-, metasternum and first two visible abdominal sternites completely fused, nevertheless border between pro- and mesosternum marked by a very deep furrow (Fig. 5). Prosternum with a T-shaped furrow medially. Meso-, metasternum and abdominal sternite II with a deep rounded smooth median depression, sternlte III with a median longitudinal line of punctuation. Sternites TV-VI with anterior lateral and midlateral glabrous areas not conspicuous but sometimes marked by punctuation. Sternites VI-VII fused medially, VII with two large elongated tubercles (Fig. 11). Spiracle II ventral, situated on a small tubercle, III anteroventrally on third tooth-like projection and visible from above, IV-VII anterolaterally on projections, VIII apical. Measurements: total length of body 5.7 mm; length of head 1.03 mm; width of head 0.96 mm; length of pronotum 0.59 mm; width of pronotum 1.62 mm; length of fused meso-, metanotum and first two visible tergites 1.36 mm; width of mesonotum 2.1 mm; width of metanotum 2.53 mm; maximum width of body across segment V 2.67 mm. Acoryphocoris bellicosa (Kormilev, 1955) New locality data: N.E. Burma, Kambaiti, 2000 m, 4/6 1934, Malaise. (1 female specimen). REFERENCES KORMILEV, N. A.
