Some Sarcophagidae (Diptera) from Afghanistan By Y. G. VERVES (Received April 15, 1980) Abstract: Locality data of nine sarcophagid species are given from Afghanistan; five species are new to the fauna of Afghanistan. Sicteen species of Sarcophagidae were recorded from Afghanistan in our previous paper (ROHDENDORF and VERVES, 1979). In the present list nine species of Sarcophagidae are recorded including five which are new for the Afghan fauna. Thus, a total of 21 species of Sarcophagidae are known for Afghanistan now. In enumerating the label data, I omit the name of the collector and the year of collecting, since all but one specimens were collected by Dr. L. PAPP (Budapest) in 1974 (see PAPP, 1975).
