that when comparing the A. mayri and A. atomarius species by sex, the patterns of the above described parts of the genital area are identical. Í A. abbreviatus Ö*, q_ (larva, Vth instar. Fig. 5) Basic coloration is brownish white. There are four small pigment spots on the top of the head. Two of these spots are situated on the transition between top of the head and the forehead. There are spot-like brown patches on the pronotum, wing-buds and on the dorsal plates. Among the patches a light brown pattern is present. All arranged into 4 longitudinal lines which can easily be recognized on the abdomen. There is one seta on each tergal patch. Ventrally, the body is also brownish white, without any apparent pattern, including the developing ovipoaitor and the genital plate. Size of <S and o_: 3. 8 to 4.1 mm. Fig. 3.
