Pores: Pore Pol situated obliquely anteriorad to inner side of insertion of setae Zl. Pore Po2 on line connecting setae Z2 and S3. Pore Po3 on line connecting setae Z4 and 15 in front of outer dorsal cavities. Sculpture: Entire podonotum with an irregular tile-like sculpture. Opisthonotum delicately reticulated in upper angles, remaining part of opisthonotum covered with big and distinct spots. Dorsal cavities round lobed frontaly with axes parallel to body axis. Ventral side. Chaetotaxy and shape of peritremal shield typical of Zercon C.L.Koch, 1836. Adgenital shields present. Anterior margin of ventro-anal shield with four setae. Systematic position: This species resembles Zercon primus KoSir, 1974, but it differs by the following features: Zercon secundus sp. nov. 1. Anterior margin of ventro-anal shield with four setae. 2. Dorsal cavities equal, round lobed frontally with axes parallel to body axis. 3. Podonotal setae i3-i6, zl, sl-s4 feathered apically. Material examined: Holotype (<j>): sample. Zercon primus KoSir, 1974 1. Anterior margin of ventro-anal shield with two setae. 2. Dorsal cavities with oblique axes, outer pair being stronger than the inner one. 3. Podonotal setae i3-i6, zl, sl-s4 short and smooth. No. 52; 4 Ex. Paratypes: (<£<£): from the same Zercon indiscretus sp. n. Description of holotype. Female. Length 430 um, width 340 urn. Dorsal side (Fig. 7). Setae: Podonotal setae il barbed, marginal setae rl-r6 feathered, remaining setae smooth. Opisthonotal setae 11-12 smooth, setae 13-16 long, broadened and feathered apically. Seta 15 reaching beyond posterior margin of opisthonotum. Setae 16 longer than setae 15 and: removed 105 urn from each other. Seta Zl smooth similar in length to seta 1 1. Seta Z2 longer and also smooth. Setae Z3-Z4 long, similar in shape to setae 13-16. Seta Z5 smooth and distance between setae Z5 and 16 being 20 um. AJ.1 setae in row S long, broadened and feathered apically. Seta SI shortest among all setae of this row and not reaching insertion of seta S2. Marginal setae of opisthonotum feathered, similar in length to marginal setae of the podonotum. Lengths of setae of opisthonotum and distances between setae of single rows in um as follows: SI 39 Zl 23 1 1 18 45 60 52 S2 46 Z2 25 12 25 52 30 40 S3 57 Z3 45 I 3 38 40 37 37 S4 60 Z4 60 14 47 45 23 Z5 41 15 50 45 16 68 Pores: Pore Pol situated quite obliquely anteriorad to outside of insertion of seta Zl. Pore Po2 on line connecting Z3-S3 near Z3. Pore Po3 on line connecting setae I5-Z4 in front of inner corners of exterior dorsal cavities. Pore Po4 beyond seta S4. Sculpture. Entire podonotum with an irregular tile-like sculpture, Opisthonotum with sculpture tile-like in upper angles, reticulated fronto-medially, at points of connection lightrefracting dots present. This sculpture reaching base of setae 14, Z4 and S4. Remaining part
