Discussion: Male shining black or blackish with a bright red head. Head im punctate, antennae 19-segmented; segments 1-3 yellow, rest dark brown. Eyes small, shorter than scape. Pronotum very smooth, slightly widened posteriorly. Tegmina and wings absent. Meso- and metanotum transverse, latter with concave posterior margin. Legs yellow. Ab­domen shining, tergites 1-4 impunctate, ultimate tergite rugose, with a shallow median longitudinal furrow. Forceps asymmetrical, trigonal basally, cylindrical at apical half. Genitalia (Fig. 7) V-shaped; paramere with median incision at anterior margin broad; genital lobes narrow, without virgae; external paramere convex on outer margin, inner margin broadened near base. Female similar to male, but abdomen with ultimate tergite not rugose. Forceps straight proximally, curved only near apex, with inner margin denticulate and with a less prominent inner tooth. Length of body with forceps: male: 16. 5- 17, female: 16. 5 mm. Distribution: Tanzania. Figs. 7-9. Discussion: Male light brown to reddish brown; head red, antennae brown, legs yel­low; femora with banded brown. Antennae 18-segmented; 1st joint long, but more or less shorter than distance between antennái bases; 2nd joint short, transverse, 3rd longer than 4th. Postfrontal sutures finely, coronal suture visibly marked. Eyes large, but shorter than scape. Pronotum quadrate, all margins straight, and all angles rounded; lateral margins a little widened posteriorly; median longitudinal furrow present. Tegmina and wings absent. Mesonotum transverse, posterior margin straight; metanotum broad. Legs normal, femora light brown banded. Abdomen finely punctured, somewhat widened to last tergite, Euborellia­type. Ultimate tergite typical; abdominal tergites 6-8 carinate dorsolateral^ . Penultimate sternite rounded posteriorly, with median incision at posterior margin.
