Fig. 1. Mezira (Mezira) pahalgamiensis sp.n. male beyond (<3) hind border of terglt VI. Corium rugose, covered with setigerous tubercles, tip of membrane rounded. Abdomen ovate, lateral borders of connexiva III-V and VEt of male sinuate, the same of female straight or slightly sinuate. PE angles slightly (?) or stronger (d)protruding. Paratergites developed, reaching 4/5 of segment IX (o*), or produced beyond the tip (9-). Connexiva laterally longitudinally rugose, surface with setigerous tubercles. Spiracles n-VII ventral, placed far from border, VIII lateral. Colour: Almost unicoloured dark brown, base of the membrane pale. Measurements: total length; o* 7, 2, ? 8, 4 mm; length of head: o* 1,22, ? 1,4 mm; width of head across eyes: d

Holotype: d, Pahalgam, 2300 m, 2. VI. 1967, singled under bark in pine forest. Paratypes: 2 Ç, from the same locality. M. (M.) pahalgamiensis differs from each other oriental species of the genus in the relative length of antennái joints (joint Ü is relatively long) joined with sinuate borders of connexiva of male. It is closerly related to M. (M.) nigropicea described below.
