Fig. 1. Mezira (Mezira) pahalgamiensis sp.n. male beyond (<3) hind border of terglt VI. Corium rugose, covered with setigerous tubercles, tip of membrane rounded. Abdomen ovate, lateral borders of connexiva III-V and VEt of male sinuate, the same of female straight or slightly sinuate. PE angles slightly (?) or stronger (d)protruding. Para­tergites developed, reaching 4/5 of segment IX (o*), or produced beyond the tip (9-). Connexiva late­rally longitudinally rugose, surface with setigerous tubercles. Spiracles n-VII ventral, placed far from border, VIII lateral. Colour: Almost unicoloured dark brown, base of the membrane pale. Measurements: total length; o* 7, 2, ? 8, 4 mm; length of head: o* 1,22, ? 1,4 mm; width of head across eyes: d 1 1, 2, 9 1,35 mm; midline length of pronotum: cf 1, 05, î 1, 2 mm; maximum width of pronotum: <? 2,45, S 2,8 mm; length of scutellum: c? 1,08, 9 1,25 mm; width of scutellum: cf 1,25, 9. 1, 7 mm; maximum width of abdomen across, d* segment V: 1,85 mm, 9 segment IV: 2,3 mm. Holotype: d, Pahalgam, 2300 m, 2. VI. 1967, singled under bark in pine forest. Paratypes: 2 Ç, from the same locality. M. (M.) pahalgamiensis differs from each other oriental species of the genus in the re­lative length of antennái joints (joint Ü is relatively long) joined with sinuate borders of connexiva of male. It is closerly related to M. (M.) nigropicea described below.
