Relative length of antennái joints I to IV: 11,5:8:14:9,5. Antenniferous tubercles developed, sharp, diverging. Postocular tubercles .small, reaching outer border of eyes-. Infraocular carinae low, with deep smooth furrow on the inner side.Labium reaching hind border of head.labial atrium slit-like. Pronotum 2,3 times as' wide as long in the middle. Fore lobe narrower than hind lobe. Collar thin, anterior angles of pronotum rounded, produced anteriorly beyond collar. On fore disc four rounded ridges. Notch moderately rourided, lateral borders of hind disc parallel, hind border slightly sinuate. Fore disc sparsely, hind disc densely covered with setigerous tubercles. Scutellum triangulate, lateral border carinate, sinuate, tip rounded. Disc transversally rugose, sporadically covered with setigerous tubercles, with low median ridge and developed protuberances on anterior angles. Hemelytra reaching hind border of segment VI. Corium with setigerous tubercles, mainly along veins. Membrane with distinct veins. Abdomen ovate, PE angles slithtly protruding, lateral borders of connexiva V to VR increasingly sinuate, PE angles of segment vn rounded, hind border sinuate (Fig. 3). Paratergites well developed reaching far beyond tip of segment DX. Connexiva laterally longitudinally rugose, sporadically covered with setigerous tubercles. Spiracles n to vn ventral, placed far from border, VIII lateral.' Colour: almost uni coloured dark brown with paler marks on membrane. Measurements: 9 total length: 9,4 mm; length of head: 1,52 mm; maximum width of pronotum: 2,9 mm; length of scutellum 1,35 mm; width of scutellum: 1,8 mm; maximum width of abdomen across segment IV: 4,4 mm. Holotype: ? Gulmarg, 3000 m, 13. VI. 1967, singled mainly under stones (See the remark at N. kashmirensis Korm.) Closely related to M. (M) pahalgamiensis, but bigger and differs from it among others in the shape of the tip of abdomen (Figs. 2,3). Figs. 2-3. Tip of abdomen, 2 = Meaira (Mezira) pahalgamiensis sp.n. female; 3 = M. (M.) nigropicea sp.n. female Mezira (Z emir a) serrata Kormilev, 1971 The species was described on the basis of a single female specimen from Viet Nam. In the material at hand there are males as well, thus a short description of the so far unknown male can be given. Smaller than female, but general shape similar. Head wider than long. Relative length of antennái joints I to IV: 19,5:24:23,5:17. Pronotum about 1/2 as long as wide. Hemelytra reaching 1/2 of tergit VII. Lateral border of connexiva straight, on tip of abdomen rounded. PE angles not protruding, PE angles of segment VII rounded. Paratergites short, reaching 3/5 of segment IX (Fig, 4), Measurements: total length: 9,8 mm; length of head: 1,5 mm; width of head across eyes: 1,55 mm; midline length of pronotum: 1, 65 mm; maximum width of pronotum: 3, 25 mm; length of scutellum 1, 65 mm; widtji of scutellum: 1, 7 mm; maximum width of abdomen across segment IV: 4, 2 mm.
