FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERIES NOVA) XXX. 2. 1977 p. 151-154 Mezirinae from India in the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Heteroptera: Aradidae)* By T. VÁSÁRHELYI (Received 30. November, 1976) Abstract: Two new species, Mezira (Mezira) pahalgamiensis and Mezira (Me z i ra) nigr opi c ea, and the so far unknown male of M e z i r a (Zemira) serrata Kormilev, 1971 are described. Latter is recorded for the first time in India. New local data of Neuroctenus affinis Distant, 1904 and N. kashmirensls Kormilev, 1971 are given. Some Mezirinae collected by Dr. Gy.TOPÁL In India during his field trip in 1967 are in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. This paper contains the results of the Investigation made on them. Neuroctenus affinis Distant, 1904 Orissa, Daitari, 700 m. 1. I. 1967. singled under bark of trees; 22. X. 1967, singled from manure (?); 4. xn. 1967, singled under bark of trees. Neuroctenus kashmirensls Kormilev, 1971 Yusmarg, 29 miles from Srinagar, 2300 m. 29. V. 1967 singled in pine forest; Pahalgam, Lidderwart, 8. VI. 1967, singled mainly under stones. According to the collector the insects must have been collected from under the stones. Mezira (Mezira) pahalgamiensis sp.n. (Figs. 1,2.) Macropterous, elongate ovate, surface with setigerous tubercles. Head about as long as wide across eyes. Anterior process well developed, lateral borders subparallel, reaching or reaching slightly beyond tip of first antennái joint. Antenniferous tubercles strong, diverging. Antennae relatively long and thin, relative length of antennái joints I to rV: d, 9,5:7:13:8,8; ?, 10,5:7:14: &. Labium not reaching fore border of prosternum, labial atrium slit-like. Pronotum about 2,3 times as wide as long (d| 17,3:7,5; 19,5:8,5), covered with setigerous tubercles. Fore lobe narrower than hind lobe. Collar thin, anterolateral angles rounded, produced anteriorly beyond collar, lateral notch and lateral border of hind lobe rounded. Hind border slightly sinuate. Scutellum triangulate, lateral border slightly sinuate, lateral carinae, protuberances on anterior angles and median ridge with setigerous tubercles, surface transversely rugose. Hemelytra reaching (°.) or produced The scientific results of Dr. Gy. Topái' s collectings in India. 7.
