(=E. cylindrica f. minima Schuster, 1960) On the basis of detailed examinations of the Hungarian specimens, it can be distinguished from the nominate form by its constant tarsal chaetotaxy of leg IV. Material examined: Hungary. Szendehely, 1974. Leg. Bayoumi. B.M. Epiloh mannia giga ntea Berlese, 1916 On the basis of the descriptions given up to now this species is readily recognizable. In the publication of SELLNICK, the sensillus (Fig. 14 ) is drawn in a slightly superficial condition. Here, this is revealed through specimens collected by Dr. B. HAUSER near the type locality (MAHUNKA, 1974) of the specimen serving the basis of the figure given by SELLNICK. Epiloh mannia heter otrich a Mahunka, 1966 To introduce this species into the identification key we reexamined the typical series of the species. It was established that this species can be easily separated from other cogeners by the form of the notogastral setae, the shape and the relative distances between the anal and adanal setae. The latter character could not be revealed either from the original description or from the figure connected with it. For this reason, we are retrieving herein an additional figure (Fig. 6 ) for the type material. Epi lohma nnia imre o rum sp.n. Measurements. - Length: 650-803 u. Breadth: 320- 344 yu Dorsal aspect: Lateral margin of prodorsum, behind rostrum, steeply sloping. Rostral setae short, similar to setae exa. Interlamellar setae (152 u) considerably - by about two and half times longer than lamellar ones (60 u). Sensillus uniformly thin, setiform. Notogastral setae thin and barbed, centrally located ones, i.e. c^> C2, ái, e 1t f^, and h-^, much longer than marginals, eg, cpi, as well as ps^ and ps£. Ventral aspect: Epimeral ridges I joining medially, enclosing a triangular area in between. Epimeres I and II wide, epimere in very narrow, while epimere IV markedly wide. Epimeral seta lb strong, stout and barbed. Seta lc much shorter, 2a minute. Setae of epimeres III and IV gradually increasing in length towards outer margin, of which 3c and 4c much stronger, stout and barbed. 3 pairs of aggenital, 8 pairs of genital, 3 pairs of anal, and 3 pairs of adanal hairs prepsent. Anal seta an3 and adanal setae ad^ and ad£ much thicker than remainder.
