Proreus simulans (STAL, 1860) Eugenias Re sa, Ins., p. 302 (China) Shaowu, Fukien, (500 m) 27.5.1937, legit: J. KLAPPERICH (gen.prep.No.444, det. Dr. H. STEINMANN) (1 ex) Exypnus chinensis sp.nov. (Figs. 21-24) Preponderantly dark brown to blackish. Head black, matte or slightly shiny. Vertex convex, eyes small. Scapus shiny black, about twice longer than wide, and considerably shorter than frontal section between scapi. Joint 2 short, joint 3 considerably longer than joint 4, but not as long as combined length of joints 4 and 5. Antennae 17-jointed. Anterior margin of pronotum shorter than widely rounded posterior margin (Fig. 21). Pronotum and elytrae densely and finely punctate, nearly black. Wing well visible, their median section with a wide yellow stripe along longitudinal axis. Anterior legs brownisch black, its femur shorter than pronotum.Middle and posterior legs yellowish brown, posterior tibia reaching to abdominal segment 7. Last male tergite dark, bearly black. Pygidium wide. Cerci strong, with large teeth on inner margin at pygidium and at middle (Fig. 22). Female pygidium narrower yet longer (Fig. 23), cerci almost straight, inner margins with minute teeth. Male genital organ (Fig. 24) squat, wide. Genital lobe of paramere concavely truncate near apex of metaparamere. Metaparameres arching into an oval, apically aciculately elongate. Basal vesiculum of virga oval, the emitted paired, lobiform sacs obscurely outlined, hardly discernible, one cosniderably wider and longer than the other.
