The nearest ally of the species is Exypnus pulchripennis (BORMANS", 1883); the two species can be distinguished as follows: 1 (2) Lateral margins of pronotum parallel or nearly parallel. Apex of wings extruding under elytrae with a minute yellow spot (or also absent) nearpostero-median margin. Inner margin of male cerci with a distinct tooth only near apex (disregarding the basal tooth). Male genital organ narrow (Fig. 25), lateral margins of metaparameres obtusely angulate. Paired sacs at base of virga narrow, typical, strongly sclerotized. - Distribution: Burma, India, Borneo, New Guinea pulchripennis (BORMANS, 1883) 2 (1) Lateral margins of pronotum not parallel, anterior section essentially narrower than posterior one. Wings extruding under elytrae with a wide, longitudinal, yellow band throughout. Elytrae densely and well discernibly punctate. Inner margin of male cerci without apical tooth (basal tooth present), but median section with a large tooth. Male genital organ (Fig. 24) wide, lateral margins of metaparameres not obtusely angulate. Paired sacs at base of virga present, one very narrow, the other very wide, but hardly discernible not or hardly sclerotized. Distribution: China: Fukien chinensis sp. nov. Familia: Forficulidae Anechurinae BURR, 1907 Oreasiobia chinensis sp.nov. (Figs. 26-28) Reddish brown to brownish black. Head slightly convex, frons and vertex reddish brown. Scapus short, shorter than frontal section between scapi. Antennái joint 2 normally shortened, joints 3 and 4 about equaUy long, joint 5 slightly longer, antennae 12-jointed. Eyes small, as long as scapus.or only slightly longer. Pronotum only slightly wider than long, lateral margins paraRel, black, excepting rufous brown lateral margins. Elytrae normal, brownish, wings visibly extruding from beneath them. Legs brownish black and dark brown, anterior femur slightly longer than pronotum, posterior femur only slightly shorter than elytra. Last abdominal tergite short and wide, about twice wider than long, dorsal surface with 2 striking and long chitinous pegs (known in a simUar configuration also in the Vandex species within the Labiidae); pegs apically projecting beyond posterior margin of last tergite in a superior view (Fig. 26). Pygidium long, longer than wide. Male cerci con-
