BOUCEK (Received August 1, 1973) Abstract: It includes descriptions of Szelenyinus brevinervis gen. et sp.nov. from northern Italy, of Homoporus gusztavi sp.nov. from Czechoslovakia and Italy and of Mesopolobus szelenyii sp.nov. from the Ukrainian S.S.R. and Azerbaijan. Homo­ porus bicolorus ERDO S is synonymised with H. semiluteus (WALKER) . Szelenyinus gen . nov . Head slightly broader than mesoscutum; occiput immargii ed, temples andgenae terete; eyes bare, of medium size; scrobes barely indicated, shallow; lower face slightly con­vex, clypeal region radiately striate, lower margin of clypeus truncate. Mouth normal, its margin sublaterally and laterally without depressions or excisions; mandibles short, teeth 4:4. Antennái toruli well above lower ocular line but slightly nearer to mouth margin than to median ocellus; antennái formula 11353. Scapus nearly reaching ocel­lus, very slightly broadened, slightly tapering apically (in male; female unknown); pe­dicellus oblong, subpyriform, longer than any of five funicular segments which are subquadrate, slightly increasing in length and width; flageHum slightly clavate-fusiform three anelli together hardly as long as breadth of pedicellus; clava about as long as three preceding segments combined, apically rather acuminate, without area of mic­ropilosity, sutures perpendicular; hairs on flagellum subdecumbent, linear sensilla not numerous and generally in one row on each segment (except anelli) . Thorax moderately convex, its pubescense short, whitish, not conspicuous; slightly raised reticulation without piliferous punctures.
