PAPP (Received July 10, 1973) Abstract: Microgaster szelenyii sp. n. 9d*is described from Korea closely rela­ted to Microgasterleechi WALLEY 9o*(NearcticRegion) . Types (12 9 and 11 <5) are deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Microgaster szelenyii sp.n. 9 d" 9. Body 4-4, 2 mm long. Head twice as wide as long. Eye not protruding from the out­line of head, almost twice higher than broad (23:13), inner margin of both eyes conver­ging below. Ocelli (Fig. 2) forming a triangle, hind tangent of fore oceUus virtually al­most touching (or touching) both hind oceUi, distance between fore and a hind ocelli hardly smaller than diameter of an oceUus, POL shorter than OOL (5:7-8). Face near­ly twice as wide as high (20:12-13) with somewhat concetrical, toward clypeus directed vermiculate rugosity. Clypeus medially with superficial subrugulosity, laterally smooth, Face and clypeus shiny. Cheek shorter than base of mandible . Tempora along eye smooth, its hind half rugo-rugulose, shiny. Vertex and occiput smooth, polished. An­tenna hardly longer than body. Flagellar joint 1 4-times as long as wide, further ones gradually shortening and somewhat attenuating so that penultimate joint 2.5-3 times lon­ger than wide (Fig. 1). Thorax 1.4 times as long as high, ratio of its length, height, and width (between tegu­lae) as 40/-38/:28-27:24-23, its width equal that of head.
