tána csapdákba. A him lepkéket a csapdáktól 3 különböző távolságra bocsátottuk szabadon: 1, 20 és 100 méterre. További variánsok: jelzett /fluoreszkáló festékporokkal festett/ és jelzetlen, besugárzott /steril/ és fertilis, első és 42.-43. laboratóriumi generáció példányai. A mintegy 600 him kukoricamolyt részben nyilasokkal ellátott kemánypapir dobozban helyeztük el a kijelölt területeken, részben pedig közvetlenül bocsátottuk szabadon, zömüket a. csapda mellett /1 m/. Eredmények: egyik kisérletsorozatban sem repült him kukoricamoly a szexuálattraktáns csapdákba! Megfigyelésünk szerint a kibocsátást követő 3-6. napon a csapdák környékén, azoktól alig néhány méternyire a bokrok levelein, a fatörzseken sok him lepke ült, de a csapdák egyetlen példányt sem fogtak. A kérdés további vizsgálata és az eredménytelenség okának kideritése indokolt, hiszen az irodalomban vannak adatok a kukoricamoly-szexuálattraktáns-csapdák sikeres alkalmazásáról. rínia' nubilalis IIB./ trap working on the principle of sexuax attraction In 1970, the author tried traps working on the principle of sexual attraction which had already proved to be successful with other Lepidoptera species, on the corn borer; he carried out his experiments on the plot of Julianna-major belonging to the Plant Protection Research Institute. He set up 4 of the socalled "cylindrical" traps which had already been used for apple ermels, and placed them at a distance of some 20 metres from one another. Into each trap he placed 5 /in the first aeries/ and 10 /in the second series/ virgin female moths. Simulataneously two aeries of experiments were carried out as to the origin of the virgin females: 1. strain having been reared for a long period of time in the laboratory /42nd and 4 3rd generations/, 2o the first generation of an open-field population was placed into the cages.
