This mollusca species is a late young Holocene (post Bronze Age) immigrant fauna element. 25 6.2.5 Vertebrate fauna Table 9 includes the vertebrate fauna of three Hungarian flint mines. In the Denevér street flint mine the whole animal bone material was found within a single mining field. The bones belong to three species: red deer, roe deer and domesticated sheep. One bone find belongs probably to a medium sized carnivore (?). All the remains belonging to red deer and roe deer are antlers while domesticated sheep is represented by a metapodium, a so-called dry - limb bone. In the Sümeg-Mogyorósdomb flint mine the bone finds were in galleries. The bones belong to 3 domesticated animal species and to four macrommal species. From the 486 animal bones 45 pieces are cut off red deer antlers. Furthermore 2 5 Krolopp E.' S report, Bp. 1985. 06. 10.
