The dist. diaphy1 0 In the area of the brick-factory (Téglagyár) at Tiszafüred. A. Vaday excavated from T976 on a Sarmatian and a prehistoric settlement. During the 1982 campaign the pit N- 9. of section II. proved to be also of prehistoric age. Its archaeological investigation will be carried out by P. Raczky. 1 1 I began to study the animal bone material of P. Patay's excavations in 1980. The first lion find, an upper caninus fragment was found during the setting in order of the material excavated in 1975. Further lion bones are prospective from the animal bone material of both earlier and recent compaigns.
