1909 June 26t. He acquires his doctorate from Bódog Som­ló at the University of Kolozsvár. He later studies for a few semesters at the Budapest Faculty of Arts too. ) 1910 Having resigned from the presidency of the Galilei Circle, he takes over the leadership of the Committee for Workers' Education. 1912 He takes his law finals. 1912 August. He leads a seminar on the historical philo­sophy of Hegel, Marx and Pikier. 1913 He gives speech at the Galilei Circle's traditional March 15th celebration. (At his request, Endre Ady regularly sends poems to these celebrations.) 1913 From May he co-edits - together with Aladár Székely Artúr Székely and Zsigmond Kende - the journal 'Sza­badgondolat' ('Free Thought'). 1913 May 13th. He speaks at the Martinovics commemoration day organized by the Society of Free Thinkers in Hungary. 1913 November 2nd. He gives a forceful speech at the Music Hall against the planned press laws. 1913 December 5th. He joins the Archimedes free masonic lodge. 1914 February 13th and 20th. He lectures in the Archime­des lodge on the relationship of science-to morals. 1914 February 27th. He lectures in the Comenius lodge on the free thinkers' movement. 185
