After World War IIAlbert and his family moved to Pale Alto, California where they attended services at a bible believing church. Eventually the family settled into the fellowship of the Peninsular Bible Church. Albert used his God given talent to build chancel furniture, It was his desire and joy to build the very best for the house of God. He was honored by the church for his dedicated service to the Lord. The little redwood crosses that he made have been sent all over the world to mission stations. He spent several winters in Palm Bay and we, too, received the benefit of his talents. He was responsible for the construction of the Beauty Shop and Library addition at our Bethesda Baptist Retirement Home. For many years we have been enjoying the results of his special talents here in Florida. Albert is now with the Lord and though he will be missed by so many friends and family, we are confident that he will be long remembered by all who look upon the beauty of the things he created within the church buildings. One of Albert’s favorite scripture passages was the 100th Psalm. He loved to hum and sing while at work with his hands to bring beauty to the house of the Lord. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God. It is He that hath made us and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto him and bless His name, For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations” Albert lived by these verses and is now enjoying the fellowship of the One he served faithfully for so many years. He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Ruth, two sons, Albert Jr. and Scott; two daughters, Marlene and Jan, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also a sister, Violet Felix. May the dedication of Albert to the Lord be an example for us to follow. E. J. Kish MOLNÁR GÉZA 1909-2000 Molnár Gézáékat (feleségét, Esztert és két kisleányukat, Esztert és Ruth-ot) 1949-ben ismertük meg, amikor családommal együtt Kanadából Bridgeportba (CT) érkeztünk az ottani Magyar Baptista Gyülekezet meghívására. Mivel mi korábban megérkeztünk, mint a bútoraink, Molnár Géza testvérék otthonában kaptunk helyet néhány napra. Akkor még csak névrokonok voltunk, de hamarosan lelki testvérekké és a gyülekezetben munkatársakká lettünk. Az egész család hűségesen járt a gyülekezetbe és minden munkából kivették a részüket. Géza testvér évekig szolgált, mint pénztáros, diakónus, bizottsági tag, de a fizikai munkát sem kerülte el. Mindig kész volt segíteni. Sokszor megörvendeztetett bennünket szép hegedű szólóival. Az egész család benne volt az énekkarban, később a lányok a zongorán és az orgonán is szolgáltak a gyülekezetben, sőt a Konvenciókon is. Voltak, akik hozzánk jöttek és gratuláltak a lányok szép szolgálatához -, azt gondolták, hogy a mi gyermekeink. Mi örömmel fogadtuk volna a megtiszteltetést, de be kellett vallanunk, hogy Eszter és Ruth a Molnár Géza testvérék talentumos lányai. Mindkét leány képzett ápolónő lett. De nem csak a testet, hanem a lelket is ápolták. Később Esztert feleségül vette Reverend Skip Rowe és a mai napig együtt szolgálják az Urat és népét. Ruth misszionáriusi munkát végez a Pioneers nevű missziós társaságnál. Különféle nemzetiségű bevándorlók között szolgál -, az angol nyelven kívül az evangélium megismerésére próbálja elvezetni őket. Szövetségünk támogatja őt egy kevés évi adománnyal, amiért ő igen hálás. Molnár Géza testvér 1909-ben született és ez év januárjában szólította magához az Úr. Felesége 12 évvel megelőzte őt. Gyermekeik hálásak Istennek a keresztyén nevelésért, amiben szüleik részesítették őket. Idős édesapjuk utolsó éveiben megpróbálták mindezt viszonozni. Ruth az utóbbi három és fél esztendőben együtt lakott édesapjával, örömmel gondozta őt. Hálával emlékszik vissza ma is arra, hogy édesapja mindig letérdepelve imádkozott, egészen addig, amíg fel tudott állni térdeiről. Minden nap olvasta a Bibliát. “Connecticutban helyeztük el testét, közel az édesanyánkéhoz - írja leánya. Az egyszerű, de igen értékes gyászistentiszteleten ott voltunk mind, gyermekei, unokái, dédunokái, rokonok, jó barátok, lelki testvérek. Minden úgy történt, ahogy apa óhaja lett volna. Szeretnénk megköszönni mindenkinek a sokféle formában hozzánk érkezett megemlékezést, vigasztalást, ami szépen bizonyítja irántunk és szüléink iránti szeretetüket." Emléke velünk marad. My main reason for writing is to ask for a favour but before I do, I would like to say how good it is that the Ev-himok is published on the internet. It is done very well and includes a lot of useful information. Because I am the Youth Leader at my church, I am mostly responsible for organising music for us to sing. There aren’t many of us but we would still like to make our parents and elders happy. At the moment, 1 only have access to English Youth Music. I hear that sometimes the English ‘Praise & Worship’ music is translated into Hungarian. If that is so, I would like to find out where I can have the song words to these. I searched on the Internet but didn’t find anything. My request would be, if it isn’t too difficult, if you or those around you could help me in this. I would really appreciate that if you could.
