Is­ten válasza: nem az a lényeg, hogy ki­csoda vagy te, hanem, hogy én külde­lek. S én veled leszek. Mostmár az igazi kérdés az, hogy kicsoda az, aki küldi Mózest. Mózes is ezt szeretné tudni. Sőt, mielőtt elindulna, erről kell megbizonyosodnia. Igaz, hogy az sem mindegy, hogy kik vagyunk, de igazában az a fontos, hogy kinek a küldöttei, eszközei, szol­gái vagyunk. A magunk megbízottai vagyunk, vagy Azé, akinek adatott minden hatalom mennyen és földön? Nem mindegy! Aranymondás: 2Móz 3:10. HG MISSZIONÁRIUSAINK Letter from Ruth Wright, missionary Since I spoke to you last year at the Convention in California, God has re­directed my path. On January 1st, I stepped out by faith, believing God was leading me to serve in a new ministry with Pioneers in ministering to Internationals in the Northern Virginia area. This came after much prayer and seeking His will. My desire was to be involved in full-time evangelism. My focus has been on the college cam­pus near where I live, to the over 300 Inter­national students from 60 countries who study there. There is no Christian outreach among them. Through contacting the In­ternational Advisor and the Dean of Stu­dents, I was invited to come on the cam­pus. With the help of my church’s Inter­national ministry, I was able to develop a program called the International Student Fellowship. This fellowship provides Inter­national students with friendship partners, English conversation partners, recreatio­nal activities, field trips and small Bible studies. During the past six months, I have spent much time on the campus getting to know many of the International students. Very quickly I came in contact with 25 who expressed interest in the program. During the Spring semester, I had a din­ner in my home and 15 of these students came. Iam spending the summer building relationships with many of them and it takes time. Meeting their needs first, often opens the door for sharing the love of God. After several months, six who are unsaved (from the Philippines, Afghanis­tan, China and Vietnam) have asked me to teach them the Bible. Can you imagine how overwhelmed I was? It is my heart’s delight to teach people God’s Word. Pray for their salvation. Teaching English as a second language also gives a continual open door to meet­ing with Internationals. I have quite an extensive English teaching program too. I’d like to share one particular situation with you which is so exciting. I have been befriending four Iranian families, most of whom are Muslims, for about three months. They have been to my home on several occasions and just recently they all came to church for the first time. God has not only called me, but has equipped and enabled me to be His in­strument to reach these people. I am al­ways planning small dinners (which pro­vide long interaction at an unhurried pace), playing tennis, helping people with English, or simply having a coke with someone at McDonalds. This has been the most exciting ministry I have ever been in, as I am doing what my heart desires most. Jesus is coming soon and it is His will that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. Please pray for me as I take each day step-by-step as the Lord leads. Thank you for your continues prayer support and financial giving. From the beginning, God planned that His people would be the means by which all the na­tions might know Him. In the Scripture we read: “When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native bom. Love him as yourself.” (Lev. 19:33) Loving is what matters. Serving is love made visible. Thank you for standing with me in prayer during this next year.
