Martha Hope and Hilda Greutert standing in front of the giant birthday card signed by each of the residents and guests attending the birthday celebration. 2. Mrs. Árpád Fülöp, neighborhood friend and prayer warrior. Residents: Hilda Greutert, Helen Repasy, who was also celebrating her 84th birthday. 3. Marguerite Jones, one of our apartment dwellers, is in charge of everyday greeting cards. She re-stocks them and keeps the cards and envelopes in great order. Volunteers help those with impaired sight to address and mail their specially chosen cards. 4. Sheryl Torrey was kind to bring her therapy dogs to present an obedience program. After which time, those who whished to, had an opportunity to cuddle “man’s best friend.” 5. Immediately after our Thanksgiving Eve celebration, a memorial service was held for Alex Raduly, a former resident who lived to be 103 years of age. Rev. A. Barton Brown, pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church gave the eulogy together with Mrs. Esther Carabelos of Denver, CO. Mrs. Edith Welsch, of Youngstown, OH was also in attendance. These two daughters faithfully visited with Mr. Raduly every year.
