We need your support. I have found many times that to be informed is to become involved. I want to supply information and then trust God to inspire. First Baptist Church, Middlefield, began in September of 1972. The Lewis family and six adults from Faith Baptist Church, South Newbury, Ohio, began with Sunday School in the Lewis home. Later an upstairs lodge hall was rented and still serves at present as a meeting place. It no longer is adequate for our needs. Our membership has reached 67 — 27 of these by baptism. The present membership is 41, as 26 have been lost by transfer of membership. We minister to a great people in the heart of the Home Mission Board’s Bold Mission Thrust Emphasis. These people are without Bibles, some have never been to church, and many need the Lord. Middlefield is a growing industrial center for Geagua County. Would you join our people in a commitment to reach these people for Christ? In August of 1976 we purchased, with the aid of a loan from the Home Mission Board, seven acres of land. Now we need to build. We are seriously considering Home Mission Board Plan M-152 C. We would be so happy if you would join us in prayer about the building. Maybe your church, or some individual or group would be interested in a direct Pioneer Mission Project. We would certainly insist that this not interfere with the local church. Let us hear from you by letters, phone calls, visits, etc. 3. Give as God lays it upon your heart. (Time, talents, materials, memorials, gifts.) A list of memorials will be provided upon request. We must pay off the Home Mission Board Loan before building. We then will need $100,000 at least to build. We believe there are those who would be able and willing to make a commitment to this Bold Mission Trust. Some would like to make a sizable gift. Others may desire to give on a monthly basis. Any gift, small or large, will be acknowledged and recorded for Internal Revenue Service. These should be made payable to First Baptist Church and mailed to the above address. Would you please join First Baptist Church of Middlefield in presenting Jesus to this area? God’s Richest Blessing Upon You, First Baptist Church, S B. C. Jack M.
