196. There is a srone cross in Bottyán Street in front of the Francsican church. It carries a metal corpus. The inscription reads: Memorial of Mission, I86J. 197. In Kusztusi Road, beside the second dry stream we find a stone cross erected from the donations of the people and the main chapter. This cross is also known as »kusztsi cross«. There is an inscription on it: From the donation of the people and of the mam chapter, 1874. There is also a chronosticonal inscription on the backside of the postament. 198. There was a wooden cross at the beginning of the road leading to the Szt János-kút (St. John's well) which was shot through by someone in 1866. This harmed cross was replaced with a new one in 1881 by an unknown benefactor. The total costs of the new cross were 100 Fts. 199. In 1884 the people living on Szent Tamás-hegy (St. Thomas'Hill) bought an acre of field from the Szentgyörgymző church for 500 Fts. In this cemetery plot they erected a stone cross in 1885. It was renovated in 1997. It has a 220cm corpus and a 200cm pedestal, with the following inscription: Frecced from the donations of the people from the village of St. Tamás, in i88v 200. Beside the road No 11. near the junction at Kettőspince we can see a stone cross. The inscription is blured, but the name »Haller« still can be read. Schinszler Terézia, the widow of Ferenc Haller erected the cross on her own land. It was consacrated on 13 September 1885. Today the cross is completely black with petrol vapour, since the road is very near. 201. The stone cross with a metal corpus stands before St Anna's Church in Rudnay Square. It also has an inscription: To the memory of 28 October 1886. 202. There is a stone cross on the Dorog-side of the Tát Road. It has an in­scription: It was erected by János Kiffer and his wife, Teréz Kaga, in April 1887. The Cross was renovated by Erzsébet Bádi i 1997. the corpus later was unfortunately stolen. 203. The so-called Mattyasovszky-cross, made of stone, stands in the part called »Víziváros« or »Ersekváros« (Watertown or Bishoptown), beside Kis Duna Avenue, in front of the Hévíz Bastion. This nicely carved cross carries a metal corpus. The inscription prays to Christ: For thy passion, have mercy on us! 1894. Lajos Mattyasovszkv and his family. The cross standing in a nook of the wall is protected by a wrought-iron fence. This fence is interrupted by two columns with candlesticks. Lajos Mattyasovszky was a primatial farm manager, and being one he also held several offices in different unions.
