The order was made to György Kiss. From the former group of statues we have nothing but the column and the devotional table. The latter was inserted into the outer right wall of the City-Church. The column now carries the statue of St. Vendel, beside St Ann's Church, (picture 13.) The Statue of Trinity of today was finished by 1900. It was made of white limestone. It has a huge triangle shape fundamenc, and on the angels there are the statues of St. Stephen, St. László and St. Elizabeth of Hungary. All three are statues of life-size. Above the statues there is an altar worked out, and three scenes represent the Coronation of Vajk (this was St Stephen's pagan name), the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and The Preaching Figure of Card. Pázmány. Above these, under a baldachin, there are three other statues: of Mary, St. Rókus, and St Vendel, On the top of the baldachin, as if it is a throne, sits the figure of the Holy Spirit in the hope of a Dove. It was made of metal. The total height of the statue is 9 metres. 26. The Enamelled Arms of The Nation. It is on the bridgehead of the Mary Valery Bridge. The bridge was built in 1896. King Francis Joseph was present at the opening ceremonies, because the bridge was named after one of his daughters. The shield mentioned above represents the arms of the Kingdom of Hungary. 27.
