KARÁSZI ISTVÁN HORT KÖZSÉG LAKÓINAK FOGLALKOZÁSI MEGOSZLÁSA ÉS ISKOLAI VÉGZETTSÉGE ABSTRACT: (The occupational structure and school qualification of the population of Hort) The transformation of Hungarian society accelerated the migration of the population. In this country several branch of industries came to a crisis and this caused that in some places the unemplogment has increased considerably. From these places the migration has increased considerably as well. In the region of Hort the decreasing of the population is considerable for long time. Howerer this village is an exception. This caused several things, for instance: good traffic location, the growing of various vegetables that provides secure job for the inhabitants. In addition the local government provides a lot of support for education and culture. The school qualification of the polulation better than the national average. The 73% of the population - among the women - finished their studies - the 8 class at least - at a primary school. Among the men this value is higher a bit (81%). These values are higher at Hort than the national average. The national average was 70% in 1992 among the men and the women as well. The relatively high qualification helps to the unemployed to change their trades. A népesség belső vándorlása általában mindig gazdasági okokra vezethető vissza.
