1 Abstract: (The Death of the Tragedy): In this paper I try to find the essence of the Tragedy, which is not only a genre of literary but it means a special type of view of world and life, a special type of thinking. The ancient greek awareness of life was the origin of the tragedy. What was this awarenwss of life like? Can we replay and present this view of life or the genre which we call as 'tragedy' completely different from the tragedy of Greeks? Is there any essence of the Tragedy itself or the different historical situations have created their Tragedy and we only may speak about the history of the Tragedy? These questions are standing in the centre of this essay. Finally, I examine an interesting approach of recreating the tragedy of postmodern era as a possibility of reaching of the experience of tragedy in our days. 139
