Sunday School students, parents and relatives - please join us for lunch and activities following the English worship service. Help us kick off our new school season. • The Men’s Brotherhood will kick-off the Fall Season with their Annual Bacon Roast at 11:30AM on Sunday, September 16. In celebrating part of the church’s anniversary year, the date has been changed and also the time. The sign-up sheet is posted in the church undercroft. The roast will start immediately after the English church service and there will be many varieties of food prepared. Everyone is welcome! • The Busy Martha Guild will be holding a special raffle to help pay for the new vestments they are donating to the church. The raffle is for a pair of Matyó dolls donated by John Peters. They stand eighteen inches tall and are gorgeous. Tickets may be purchased each Sunday until the church’s anniversary in November, beginning with “Family Day.” • The congregation of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Lorain, Ohio, will hold a 105th Anniversary Service & Banquet on Saturday, November 10, 2007. The combined service will take place at 3PM. A social hour and chicken paprikas banquet will follow the service in the Social Hall. Banquet Donation is $25.00 for adults and $12.50 for students. Tickets are available from the Church Office. WSHRC Cleveland. OH • Szüreti Mulatság/Harvest Festival - September 16 from Noon to 8PM. Live dance music from 2PM by Bela Czirjak. Stuffed cabbage, pork steak, sausage, chicken paprikas and dumplings, crepes, cabbage noodles, fish soup, and elephant ears are available for sale. Children dancing at 3PM and 6PM. Admission Fee $3. • September 23 - Classic Car Show, 50/50 Raffle, Door Prizes and trophies, music by Cadillac Mike. Everyone is welcome. No admission for browsing. • September 23 - Congregational Luncheon: Vinous Roast, Pastry. • October 21 - Congregational Luncheon: Bean Soup, hortobany-style pancakes filled with stew. • Recordings are now available of our 100th Anniversary Festive Concert that took place October 14, 2006.
