The exhaustive technical study of the building prepared by the firm, Noelker and Hull, shows that two thirds of the building can not be economically rebuilt to present code specifications for any uses at all. The the building specifications of the West wing and the resident area of the East wing do not correspond to current codes to such an extent that their reconstruction for any new use would cost much more than it would be worth spending for it. The central core of the building, with the main entrance, kitchen and dining room on the first floor and the big community room on the second, as well as the North wing seem to represent much fewer challenges for reconstruction/renovation.
