CONGREGATIONAL NEWS HRC - Fairport Harbor. OH • November 7th is the Women ’s Fellowship dinner. Breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes, com, and assorted pies. Reservations must be made by the weekend prior to the dinner. • On November 19, the church will hold a Hurka Sale. • On December 4, the church will take part in Fairport Harbor Holidays with activities at the church and within the comm­unity. • The congregation will hold a kolbász sale at the church on December 11. • On December 19 and 20, the congregation will go caroling at the homes of church members. UCC - Bridgeport. CT • Our One Hundredth Anniversary Service and Banquet will be held on November 7. A special Worship Service begins at 10:00 AM, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at Mountain Grove Cemetery. Banquet begins at 12:00 Noon at Leidle’s in Stratford, Connecticut. • Holiday Fair on November 20,10 AM-4PM. • 100th Anniversary Event: Our celebration will conclude on December 12, with a special Congregational Christmas Party. The worship service will begin at 9:30 AM with a special Christmas presentation by the Sunday School. At noon, a program in Bessemer Center with luncheon and special entertainment provided by the Baldwin Center Players. WSHRC- Cleveland. OH • On November 6, The Hungarian Culture Center, New York, Centrum Management, New Jersey, in association with the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland presents “Masters of the World Music Táncháy Band,” featuring Sándor Kuti - Cimbalom; Attila Jakab - Violin: László Mester - Viola; Robert Doór - Bass. Enjoy a delicious dinner with us, followed by a Live Folk, Village & Gypsy Music performance with dancers. Dinner starts at 6 PM. Admission for adults $25. Admission for students and children $ 15. Free admission for kids under 6 years. Tickets can be purchased at the church office or by phone at 216- 476-3736. Please make checks payable to the church. • The Lydia Ladies Guild cordially invite you to attend the 2nd Annual disznótoros dinner & dance on Saturday, November 20, at 6 PM in our Calvin Center. Menu: Lacipecsenye, Sausage, Hurka, potatoes, braised cabbage, dessert and coffee. Live music by Bela Czirjak. Tickets are $ 15 and can be purchased in advance by calling our church office at 216-476-3736. Raw Uncooked Sausage ($3.50/lb) and Hurka ($4.00/lb) can be preordered by phone or on the church bulletin board. • We will have Communion for the 1st Sunday of Advent on November 28. • On December 31, we will hold our annual New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance at 7 PM. The evening will include a delicious dinner of stuffed chicken leg, roast pork and gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, pastry and coffee. Live Hungarian music will be provided by Kalman Hegedeos. At midnight, we will ring in the New Year with a bottle of champagne at every table, and
