YOUTH CAMP My relationship with Him defines my attitude, my action, my work toward God and Church and Man. At Camp we will endeavor to see and understand ourselves in this Christ-Church-Man relationship and seek to work out a Christian purpose and goal for our lives. The fee will be $75.00 to be paid by the campers and the rest to be underwritten by the Synod. The minimum age is 13 and the maximum age is 18. The young person should be mature enough to participate in discussions and be able to grasp the ideas presented. Camp themes and programs are planned for the high school level. REGISTRATION POLICY 1. Registrations are to be returned no later than July 1, 1980. They should be accompanied by the camp fee of $75.00. All checks should be made out to the Calvin Synod Conference. 2. If a camper cannot attend Camp after registering his total fee will be refunded less a $1.00 service charge. 4. No registration will be processed unless the following are included. a. Camper’s signature b. Parent’s signature c. Pastor’s signature d. CAMP HEALTH FORM WHAT TO BRING Flashlight, warm coat, or sweater, camp cloths, heavy shoes, bathing suit, towels and soap. Rubber shoes and raincoat. The Bible is one essential. Two or three woolen blankets, sheets, pillow and pillow case. Sleeping bags may also be used. Beginning at 3:00 Sunday with registration, the camp extends to 9:30 the following Saturday. Please observe these times when making your traveling plans. Private property is brought at camper’s own risk. RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Only parents and invited guests will be considered visitors. 2. Visitors must report to the camp director. 3. Car keys of campers must be given to the camp director for keeping. 4. Anyone wishing to leave the camp must ask permission of the director. 5. Taps will be at 9:30 with lights out at 10:30. No one is to be out of their cabins after lights out. 6. Boys may not go into girl’s area and girls may not go into boy’s area. 7. Alcohol or drugs are not permitted anywhere on the camp grounds. Anyone violating this rule will be sent home. There will be no exceptions! 8. Smoking is not permitted at all. 9. Damage of any kind cannot be tolerated. 10. The camp director along with the other advisors shall send home any young person found to be behaving in an Un-Christian manner.
