Our purpose is to publish chronicles, that's why we have given short explanations in the foot-notes about the words hard to understand or whose meaning had changed. We did not make it our duty to correct the text or the content on a scientific basis — this would demand a lot of time, a whole series of new, thorough researches. Registers (chronological, personal names, names of places) help to make easier the enquiries of the readers. Many citizens and local enterpreneurs had a great role to help publish these chronicles and they appear on the last pages of the volume as later generations of authors and supporters of issues. 307
