Vincze-Quinn, the daughter of our former pastor, the late Rt. Rev. Dr. Charles Vincze. During the last part of the year a new Cherub Choir was organized and they made their debut at the Christmas Eve service. The congregation also established the 21st Century Committee, chaired by Mrs. Pamela Lovász, consisting of various groups, such as the Building and Grounds, chaired by Mrs. Steve Katko, Mission and Outreach, chaired by Mrs. Pat Bacho, Christian Education, chaired by Mr. Robert Zambo, Rules and Regulations Committee, chaired by Mrs. Priscilla Jenkins, which all add to the well rounded services of the church. We hope and trust that the head of the Church, Jesus Christ with the ever indwelling presence of His Spirit will remain in the midst of the church and will guide its leaders and members in fulfilling their God given duty to build His kingdom among them. Torok ROEBLING, NEW JERSEY Roebling Hungarian Reformed Church Roebling, New Jersey Co-Chief Elders: Allan Birkholz and Joseph Varga The New Year was welcomed with the celebration of Epiphany on January 7, as the culmination of our festive holiday activities. During the morning worship, we were very disappointed to hear Rev. Leslie Martin announce that he would be leaving our church to accept a pastoral position in Norwalk, Connecticut on April 1. At the annual Congregational Meeting on February 4, plans for the future of our church were discussed and Elders/Officers elected: Allen Birkholz/Joseph Varga - Co-Chief Elders; Frank Todash, Jr., Vice Chief Elder; Georgiana Harkel, Secretary; Joseph B. Varga, Treasurer; Elizabeth Soltész, Recorder; Elders: Joseph Bartha, Ted D’Annunzio, Michael Scott, Irene Szabó, Christian Varga. We were most thankful to Rev. Horace Frantz of Crosswicks who came to our aid during the month of April to assist us with holiday worship services during Holy Week. Calling upon the resourcefulness of our members, a Good Friday service was prepared and presented by Joseph Varga, Megan Scott, Michelle Scott, Elizabeth Soltész and Georgiana Harkel.
