I would like to express my thanks to those who support our church, especially for their time, energy and financial support with which they keep our church alive - many thanks for that. By the grace of God, we could accomplish another church year. May all our gratitude for that be to our Lord God. May God’s providence and love be with us in the year of 2001. There were no high points or depths; with the Lord’s help, we survived and continued our service for our Lord, who was gracious to save in our congregation. One event could be mentioned: our Pastor took a month vacation and spent it in Europe, visiting Hungary, Slovakia and Switzerland. During this period, the Rev. Stephen Szabó preached in our church to the satisfaction of our congregation. Spiritual Life of the Congregation: In the 2000th year, we observed all the services except on the first and last Sunday of the year due to inconvenient weather. We had 57 English and 7 combined services - a total of 64. Attendance at the English services: 620, Combined: 172 - a total of 792. The largest attendance was on April 23rd: 61. We observed communion 7 times; attendance in church: 164; at homes: 7 - a total of 171. 47
