Our guest minister, the Rev. Stephen Szabó, preached on July 2,9, 16, 23, September 22, 29, and November 26. In March, we hosted the Concordia Hungarian Choir from Komarom, Felvidék, Slovakia. They visited our church and they were our guests for lunch. The Pastor visited the choir members in Komarom and had a very cordial visit with the members. He also preached in the Reformed Church in Komarom. In July, the Pastor took part at the Hungarian Reformed World Federation Meeting as one of the Vice-Presidents. The Pastor delivered an opening address at the Calvin Square Church. He spoke at the opening meeting at the Ferencváros Stadion and at the Pusztaszer celebration. Our benevolence for the year: Crop Walk $100; World Service $250; Concordia Choir $750; American Hungarian Foundation $150; Ministers $200; other Congregations $100-a total of $1,550. I am thankful to the members of our Consistory for their excellent work, to the Ladies Guild for their good work for the Kingdom. I am thankful to Julianna Poznan for taping the hymns for our services, to the Nunn Family for preparing the addresses for our mailing, to Mr. Arthur Varga for taking a good care of our church. (During the year, the Pastor donated the Communion Bread and Wine for our congregation.) We give thanks to our Lord who was with us in this past century and millennium, and we ask Him to give us a bright future upon this earth and in His Heavenly Kingdom. Rt. Rev. Dr. Francis Vitéz, Bishop Emeritus 48
