willing to support our church with their donations. What we give to our church shows our devotion to our Christian faith and our commitment to the ministry of our church. Here, may I add that in loving memory of Zoltán Ivan we received $10,000.00. We are grateful for this generous gift. We carried out our MISSION with deeper commitment. We reached out to the flood victims of Hungary. We gave a donation to the building of a new Hungarian Reformed Church in Slovakia. We helped the Soup Kitchen of our community. Our denomination is sending missionaries to Hungary. They need our prayers and financial support. We need to put more emphasis on helping others and caring for those who are less fortunate than we are. In our SUNDAY SCHOOL, our children and young people had the opportunity to study the Bible and grow in their faith. Unfortunately, some of our children are not in our Sunday School. So, we urge those parents, whose children are not attending Sunday School, that they should give a chance to their children to know Christ and grow in their Christian faith through our Sunday School. During the course of the year we were able to complete the following PROJECT: The sanctuary was painted, the rooms on the first floor in the parsonage were painted, there is a new driveway, the front steps of the parsonage were repaired, the porch facing Division Street was painted. Some repairs were done by our chief elder, elders, members and friends of our church. Our many thanks to them. The organizations within our church were always willing to give us a helping hand. We wish to express our thanks to the members and officers of our organizations and committees for their contributions to our church. I wish to express my personal thanks to the officers, elders, leaders, teachers, choirs, organist-choir director, substitute organist, secretary, custodian, and all our members for their prayers, efforts and help. God bless you all. From New Testament times onward, the church has proclaimed the gospel, studied the Scriptures, shared in fellowship and reached out in service. I recommend to make these our aims in 2001. These aims can bring renewal in our church - not because of what we can do ourselves, but because of what God can and will do through each committed member of our church. May God bless us in the year of 2001. Rev. Barnabas Roczey, Pastor 100
